Set up floor plan (position tables)

Create a visual floor plan of your restaurant. Drag tables into position, draw rooms and view the real-time status of each table.

1. Open the Floor Plan view

Go to your dashboard. You'll see three view buttons: Board, List and Floor Plan (map pin icon). Click 'Floor Plan'. Note: this button is only visible for restaurant businesses.

2. Draw rooms (optional)

Click 'Draw room' (top right). Click and drag on the canvas to draw a rectangle. Give the room a name (e.g. Terrace, Main Hall, Private) and choose a color. Click an existing room to change its name or color, or to delete it.

3. Drag tables onto the floor plan

Tables that haven't been positioned yet appear in the dock at the bottom ('Drag tables to the floor plan'). Drag a table from the dock to the desired spot on the canvas. The position is saved automatically.

4. Rotate tables and toggle shape

Each table on the floor plan has two buttons: a rotate button (45° per click) and a shape button (toggle between rectangle and circle). Changes are saved immediately.

5. View real-time table status

Tables are automatically color-coded based on today's bookings: green = available, blue = reserved, orange = occupied. Click a table to open its details (same as in Board/List view).
