Why does it have to be so complicated? That was the question that started everything. Endless emails back and forth, double bookings, customers dropping off because they can't easily schedule an appointment. We saw it everywhere — with coaches, restaurants, trainers. Everyone struggled with the same problem, but existing tools were either too expensive or too complex for a small business.
So we decided to build it ourselves. Three of us — two marketers from the Netherlands and a developer from Sri Lanka — started building Pleney. No big company, no investors. Just three people who believe scheduling doesn't have to be hard.
